In this blog, I will be showing the workflow I used to create the double exposures. In this blog, I'll share the workflowI took, from picking ideas to crafting the final images.

[RAW images I will be Editing]

The initial step involved importing the photographs into Adobe Lightroom and selecting the desired images.

I opened the images in Adobe Photoshop and loaded them as layers.

I proceeded to experiment with various blend modes in Adobe Photoshop to find the one that best suited my desired outcome.

After experimenting with blend modes, I proceeded to adjust the opacity of the other layer to create a balanced effect, enhancing the overall narrative and strength of the image.

I used the shortcut Shift + Command + Option + E to create a stamped layer and then opened the image in Camera Raw. Here, I carried out additional global adjustments to refine the overall appearance.

Lastly, I added a Levels adjustment layer to introduce contrast and fine-tune the exposure according to my preferences.

The final result of the double exposure reflects the unique creative process involved. While each image may require specific adjustments, the outlined workflow was applied consistently across the entire panel of work. The process involved a considerable amount of experimentation and perseverance during the shooting phase. Despite the challenges, the outcomes of double exposure photography are always surprising. Im hoping to apply this technique to other images in the near future.
